Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Last Updated: March 20, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and prohibited conduct for all users, including Participants and Sponsors (Partners), on the Redeema Platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. PROHIBITED CONDUCT FOR PARTICIPANTS

To maintain the integrity of our promotions, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Fraudulent Receipts: Submitting altered, forged, photocopied, previously used receipts, or receipts retrieved from public areas (e.g., trash cans or left behind by other shoppers) is a material breach of our terms.
  • Multiple Accounts: Creating more than one account per person to bypass entry limits or manipulate results.
  • Automation & Bots: Using scripts, macros, or any automated means to generate entries, scan receipts, or interact with campaigns.
  • Identity Misrepresentation: Providing false information, such as fake names, temporary emails, or incorrect residency data.
2. PROHIBITED CONDUCT FOR SPONSORS (PARTNERS)

Sponsors are responsible for the ethical administration of their campaigns. Prohibited actions include:

  • Self-Participation: Sponsors, their employees, and immediate family members are prohibited from winning prizes in their own campaigns.
  • Data Misuse: Using participant data (PII) for purposes outside the scope of the campaign without explicit consent.
  • Minor Engagement: Uploading data of minors without having verifiable written parental consent on file.
  • Prize Manipulation: Interfering with the "Hash-Chained" audit log or attempting to influence the deterministic winner selection.
3. SYSTEM ABUSE & SECURITY

All users are prohibited from:

  • Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decompile or extract the source code of the Redeema App or OCR system.
  • Scraping: Using crawlers or scrapers to extract campaign data, user lists, or proprietary pricing.
  • Vulnerability Testing: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our AWS infrastructure without written authorization.
4. ENFORCEMENT & PENALTIES

Redeema reserves the sole right to determine whether a violation of this AUP has occurred. Consequences for violations include:

  • Immediate Disqualification: Removal from any active or future campaigns.
  • Account Suspension: Temporary or permanent loss of access to the Platform.
  • Ticket Voiding: Forfeiture of all accumulated points or entries without compensation.
  • Legal Action: Reporting fraudulent activity to local authorities (e.g., DACO or Law Enforcement) when necessary.

Any violation of this AUP constitutes a material breach of the Redeema Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the Sponsor's Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW).
